Prostate Cancer In The Testicles
This photo shows prostate cancer which has spread to the testes. The testes (plural for testicles) are the male gonads which produce spermatozoa. The white areas are prostate cancer tumor tissue. As the testicles are close to the prostate gland and are also part of the reproductive system, it is not uncommon for cancer to spread to this area when prostate cancer becomes metastatic.
