Prostate Cancer Lesions In A Prostate Gland

This is a photograph of a prostate gland which has been damaged by cancer. The white patched areas and lesions are prostate cancer. When physicians use the term lesions they refer to damaged tissue. This sample has a purple hue as it has been stored in a preservative solution.
