A new herpes support group has been created for the people of Ottawa who have been affected by herpes.

From the founder, Michele:

"H Support and Social Group is strictly for people either coping with or advocating for HSV/HPV. Since learning that I have HSV I found it really difficult to get back into a social or dating scene or even just finding someone I can talk to who understands. I know I speak for majority of people who find out that they have an STD.

My goal for this group is to provide support and new social connections for each other. Events could include anything from movies, board games, night on the town, dinner, hiking, and really anything that members express interest in. I look forward to meeting everyone and hearing your ideas. Let’s work together to make this the largest support group in Ottawa."
